Our Auto Shipping Process

At Fisher Shipping, we've developed a comprehensive six-department approach that sets us apart from typical auto transport brokers. Our robust process ensures every aspect of your vehicle shipment receives professional attention from start to finish, delivering the reliability and service quality you deserve.

Our Six-Department System

Account managers
Your journey begins with our experienced account managers, who provide detailed consultations to understand your specific transportation needs. They gather essential information about your vehicle, timeline, and destination requirements, ensuring accurate pricing and proper service from the very start.
Logistics Coordinators
Once you approve a quote from your account manager, they will send over the relevant information to their assigned logistics coordinator. That person will enter all of the information into our custom built software and go over the details with any points of contact that your account manager has not spoken with. Once everyone is in the loop, they will send the move management for final approval.
Pre-Dispatch
After the logistic coordinator sends the order to pre-dispatch, a member of our management team will double check the order for accuracy and to make sure that no detail of the move has been overlooked. That person will then send the order to dispatch and suggest a few preferred carriers to reach out to for the move.
Dispatch
Once your order is ready to book, our dispatch specialists take over to match your shipment with the most qualified carriers in our network. They coordinate pickup schedules, route optimization, and carrier selection based on your vehicle type, timeline, and delivery requirements.
Updates Department
Once dispatch has booked your vehicle with a carrier, our updates team takes over. They stay in touch with the carrier to confirm the vehicle pickup and delivery is done in the allotted time. Their proactive approach keeps us in the loop regarding any delays. If there is a delay due to a mechanical issue, weather, etc, they will let your account manager know so they can make you aware.
Accounting Department
Accounts receivable will send you an invoice after delivery is confirmed for any NON-COD moves. Accounts payable is combing through all of the inspection reports from delivery on all of our moves. If there is a signature missing or a potential claim, they will immediately notify the account manager to have them reach out to you or the delivery contact with any questions we may have.
